Mile High Music Festival Coverage
When
she took the stage on Saturday night at the Mile High Music Festival
distressed. Not long into her set, she pulled her keyboard player
aside and engaged him in a private conversation. When she returned to
the microphone she had tears in her eyes. She apologized and said that
something was weighing heavy on her heart. She announced that she was
going to perform a brand new song that she had written just the day
before. "It's going to make me feel better, I know it," she declared
before launching into "Life Is Good." And for the rest of her set,
life sure was good.
